~~Day 13 “Old
& New Adventures with New Friends”
Good Morning!
A lazy morning again today….resting up for a busy
afternoon! Just after lunch we’re
off on our moped to meet up with Keith and Elisa at Playa Lancheros. We haven’t been there in years. We loved it on our first trip in
2003…the fish was sooo good. When
we went again a few years later, it wasn’t so good so we just haven’t ventured
back.
We arrive to find Keith and Elisa already seated at a table
in the sand…perfect! Drinks are
ordered and then we order Tik-n-xic. I know it takes time to grill the fish so we get
comfy. The scenery is great….this
must be all the daytrippers from the nude beach next door. Very busy dock.
The fish arrives….dig in!
So, you know what they say….nothing is ever as good as it
was the first time. And in this
case, yeah…it was okay but nothing that I would make a point of going back
for. And the service was
zero. The waitress never
came back after bringing the fish.
No worries, we just fetched our own drinks.
So, let’s continue on to somewhere new! We’ve heard good things about this
newly opened place…Capitan Dulches.
Wow…so nice! Beautiful
grounds, super clean bathrooms, great bar, nice view, and friendly, attentive
service! Now we’re happy!

We laze away, just relaxing and feeling zen. We’ll definitely be back here
again!

our refreshing viewing spot…
Just 4 super happy people having a great time in Isladise!
Not sure that we were really hungry as we’ve nibbled all
day, but hey, why not! Off to
Angelo’s for our favourite pizza.
Love their thin crust.
Another great day!
