"Margaritas and Mambo!"


Good morning sunshine!

We have a breakfast date with Dan and Steph this morning at the loncheria.  It's a busy place!  Luckily they already have a table at Alexia y Geovanny.  Danny has his happy Isla face on….

Dan had some eggs….

Vince had an omelet…..I had toast and we both had watermelon juice…all very good and very cheap!

We have some entertainment across the street where new supplies of Negra Modelo are being unloaded.  Vince and amigos have been emptying the shelves the past few days.

Entertainment too!

We scoot back home after brekkies to get our things for the beach….have to stop and enjoy that darn view again!

Playa Norte is toasty again today….what awesome weather we are enjoying this year...

Such a tough day at the office….

We're off to meet Dan and Steph at Morgan's for happy hour margaritas.  We find this little cutie on the way...

No time for a photo of the Morgan Margs as we have to dash to make our reservation at 7 at Abuelos….

Miguel shows us tonight's menu choices...

Everything looks very good!  We place our orders and enjoy some very tasty margaritas…

Abuelos….on a quiet little side street away from the hustle and bustle of Hidalgo.  Awesome friendly service!

Danny and I ordered the whole fish with garlic…a snapper of some sort….

Vince had lobster….price by weight...

Steph ordered shrimp kebabs...

We're stuffed from a delicious dinner, but we are offered complimentary flan for dessert…very good!

And then the best part of the evening….most of the diners are gone and the music gets cranked up.  Time to dance!

Some of the best memories are made when least expected….dancing in the streets made for a very fun and memorable evening!

Not ready to call it a night…back to Morgna's for more margs…me being the oddball again!

Obviously a few too many perhaps?

Oh yes, way too many!!!

It suddenly starts to rain a bit so we wait it out before heading home.  Dan and Steph join us on our balcony for a nightcap of kaluha on ice.  Great stargazing and conversation.  Truly, a perfect day in paradise!  Thanks for all the fun amigos!
