Day 23
Another amazing start to another gorgeous day….
The Navy boys out for a morning run…
This view almost makes me want to get out and run too….What? Are you crazy? So much more relaxing to just sit here
and take in the view….
So, today was the day to try and replicate Keith’s delicious
crepes. I think he messed up on
the recipe on purpose! No, he
probably didn’t…..but they were too thick…edible, but not like Keith’s. You’ll have to show me your secret
amigo!
Rolled up with bacon on the inside, maple syrup and cinnamon
sugar on top….still yummy!
I clean up and spend time on emails while Vince goes in
search for the best deal on a scooter.
He finds a nice shiny scooter at Pelicanos and we will pick it up
tomorrow morning. Back to our
balcony for sizzle and siesta….
By late afternoon, it looks like we have some thunderheads
looming in the distance…it never did rain though…
A very pretty sunset tonight….that lasted forever….enjoy!
And then, an almost full moon shimmering on the sea…
We’re in slow motion tonight and don’t head out for dinner
until 9pm….had intentions of eating at Bobo’s, but it is crazy busy and
loud. We head to Angelo’s where we
haven’t eaten in a few years. It
was always one of our favourites.
The chefs hard at work in what must be a very warm kitchen!
The complimentary puffy bread arrives and we dip in balsamic
and olive oil…delish!
It rains off and on while we eat…
We share an ensalada mixto….
And our favourite pizza….Hawaiian with ham, pineapple,
mushroom and olives….a nice thin crust.
It’s nice to see that even though we haven’t eaten here for
a few years, it is just as delicious as we remember….and we even have the same
waiter. We’ll definitely be back
again!
We wander home, exhausted from such a busy day…hahaha!
Tomorrow….Zoom Zoom time!!!
